Let's start with some background about me. Diversity defines my life and career. I'm a first generation American with parents from France and Mexico, speak fluent Spanish and some French. I have a broad, international circle of influence after having lived in three large U.S. cities and traveled to over 16 countries.
As a business owner and family man, I recognize what it means to have a vision for creating something of value for those who matter to us. Partnering together, we will have a shared interest in building a sustainable enterprise that benefits employees, family, environment and profits.
Paraphrasing actor Liam Neeson in the movie Taken: "I don't know who you are. I don't know what you need. If you're looking for perfection I can tell you I don't have it, but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me very helpful to companies like yours."
A. Pierre Dubois is the Founder and CEO of ProCore Advisory, LLC. As a trusted C-suite advisor, he offers a unique blend of finance and communications abilities born from both business and creative pursuits. With Wall Street and off-Broadway theater as his stage, he has learned how to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
After graduating from credit training with UK based, National Westminster Bank, Pierre worked in Houston providing capital markets services to global companies. He was later promoted to the bank's New York City headquarters, helping create a fixed income research division. Investment Banks Furman Selz and subsequently, Bear Stearns recruited Pierre to help with formation of their high yield and emerging market research groups. In these roles he conducted extensive research and analysis, publishing investment recommendations and regularly capturing above average investment returns.
Events surrounding a family emergency and 9/11 led Pierre back to Texas, but he made the most of it personally and professionally. Leveraging his Wall Street experience in marketing, communications, finance and research, he began creating Investor Relations programs that enhanced company brands and market valuations. In this capacity he served as primary spokesperson to the investor community globally, and managed various elements of corporate communication programs. He has worked with pre-IPO and publicly listed companies on the NYSE, NASDAQ, OTC Markets, Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) and Bolsa de Valores Lima, Peru (BVL).
Pierre has led internal and external programs to improve engagement with employees, media and government. He worked for a regional public relations agency specializing in public affairs and marketing, and supported various client projects related to product launches, change management and crises issues. He worked with the Australian Trade and Investment Commission and assisted with economic development efforts. Working with federal and state government branches, he delivered counsel, market insights, and stakeholder introductions to U.S. and Australian businesses seeking cross border trade and investment. In this role, he also supported Australian Ministerial meetings with senior U.S. executives and government officials, including a U.S. roadshow for the Prime Minister.
To complement his corporate and life experience, Pierre has trained and worked professionally in stage and film as a spokesperson, actor and singer. He was a lead actor in the first fully bilingual English-Spanish theater production in the USA, with costumes designed by Nicole Miller. These skills are drawn upon to help position companies and individuals in the best light possible during investor, press or trade events.
Pierre is a graduate of The University of Texas-Austin. He has also studied at Omega Credit, Corporate Finance Institute, Instituto Allende in Mexico, New York Academy of Dramatic Arts, New York School for Film and Television and Stages Repertory Theater in Houston. He has held FINRA securities licenses and memberships with the National Investor Relations Institute, CFA Institute, Actors Equity Association (AEA), and Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA). Pierre cherishes time with his family, friends and church community, along with hobbies that include automobiles, tennis, languages and the arts.
